Centropolis Presents: New Year’s Celebrations!

On December 31, starting at 10 p.m., we invite you to send 2024 off and celebrate the arrival of 2025 with us, at the Place Centrale! For the occasion, we've got festive and rallying programming in store, as well as a spectacular countdown!

Don't forget to reserve a table at your favorite restaurant, so you can stay up late with a full belly!

Event Schedule

From 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Come enjoy the musical ambiance and the Bright moments light and sound experience, every 30 minutes (duration of about 3 minutes)!

9:30 p.m

Opening of the celebration site.

Warm up by dancing to the sounds of percussionists and admire the illuminated walking characters as they move through the crowd.

Starting at 10:15 p.m

Dance under the stars to the beats of this year’s musical retrospective.

Live band Groove Affair will perform the greatest hits of 2024 to get you dancing!

11:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.

The party continues with a performance by DJ High Klassified!

A proud Laval native, he is regarded as one of Canada's best success stories and a trendsetter in music production. His music fluctuates between hip-hop, electro and video game instrumentals. Today, he is a prolific collaborator both in Quebec and internationally, notably with Hubert Lenoir, TheWeeknd and Zack Zoya.

12 a.m.

At midnight, the long-awaited countdown to 2025 begins.

Special effects will light up the sky, celebrating the arrival of the new year in style.

We invite you to complete this magical evening in one of our restaurants specially open later for the occasion

A destination of choice for tasting microbrewery beers, and warmly invites you to celebrate the New Year! In addition, they'll be hosting you on a specially designed outdoor terrace for the occasion, and will be offering a special drink menu. Cheers!

La Centrale des artistes: Event Producer

La Centrale des artistes is a non-profit organization located in Laval. Its mission is to promote local art and culture by creating inspiring, out-of-the-ordinary projects. La Centrale des artistes brought us together with CR34TE in response to a request for projects to create a unique event for the winter season.

CR34TE: Event Creator

CR34TE is an internationally renowned company located in Laval that specializes in LED integration for ambitious lighting projects. Constantly striving to push back the boundaries of what is possible, the CR34TE team created this custom project for Centropolis.

This event is presented by Centropolis with financial support from Tourisme Laval and the Québec government.
